The brief
A modern Japandi home that feels comfortable and warm for a family of four, with well-thought-out spaces for every part of the daily routine.
We wrapped the home in warm walnut and soft neutrals, then let light do the rest. Fluted glass doors borrow daylight into the kitchen, and concealed strips trace the shelving, bed wall and vanity so every room glows in the evening.
The details
Fluted glass, where it counts
Ribbed glass doors screen the kitchen and bar without blocking light, softening every view through the home.
One walnut thread
The same warm timber runs through the shelving, dining table and bedroom, tying every room together.
Evening light
Concealed strips under cabinets, behind the headboard and below the vanity give each space a calm night-time glow.
